    MILAN - Paolo Maldini has undergone an x-ray to determine the extent of his torn thigh muscle and it is less severe that first thought but the captain will have further tests in around a week and the prognosis will be known then.

    PARMA - Milan were held to a goalless draw by Parma but coach Carlo Ancelotti was happy with his team's performance at the Tardini. He said: 'I'm happy with what the team did this afternoon, we have nothing to reproach ourselves with. The team gave it their best shot and showed their grit but suffered the speed of the Emilians in the first part of the game. If we are always able to show this attitude, we could go far this season'.

    14 ROSSONERI CALLED-UP TO INTERNATIONAL DUTIES

    MILAN - Christian Abbiati, Alessandro Nesta, Giuseppe Pancaro, Gennaro Gattuso and Andrea Pirlo have been called up to Italy for a friendly against Poland on Wednesday evening at 8.45pm CET in Warsaw.

    Brazilians Marcos Cafu, Kaka, Rivaldo and Nelson Dida will face a World Cup qualifier against Peru on Sunday, November 16, in Lima. The Seleçao will then play Uruguay at home in Curitiba three days later.

    Croatia with Dario Simic will face Euro 2004 play-offs against Slovenia on November 15 and 19.

    The same is with Clarence Seedorf whose Netherlands will play Scotland in Glasgow on Saturday 16 at 3pm CET, with return match being scheduled for Wednesday 19 at 8.30pm CET in Amsterdam.

    Friendlies at home for Manuel Rui Costa's Portugal: against Greece on Saturday 15 at 9.15pm CET and against Kuwait on Wednesday 19 at 9.15pm CET.

    The same is with the Danish duo Martin Laursen and Jon Dahl Tomasson who will play England away in Manchester on Sunday 16 at 1.45pm CET.

    Ai dreptate, IIMILAN. Parerea mea e ca Milan ar fi trebuit sa castige si meciul cu Juventus, si meciul de la Parma. Nu stiu ce greseala a facut Ancelotti cu Parma, dar cu Juventus a jucat defensiv dupa ce a marcat Tomasson (idee stupida -- ).

    De ce un "galactic" cum zici tu nu ar merita sa castige Balonul de aur daca merita . Si poate galactici ar castiga si un CL dar dupa ce aparare au nu prea au sanse doar daca atacul merge 100%

    MILAN - Milan have become the first official Italian football club site to publish in Japanese. AcMilan.com, the official site for AC Milan, produced by the Milan Channel and MP Web (the new-media wing of Gruppo Media Partners) has launched a Japanese version.
    The news confirms the extraordinary number of visitors to the site from the Far East: 60,000 users a month have visited the English version of AcMilan.com up until now, with a total of 600,000 page impressions.
