Mai lasati-l pe Owens asta of of... si cititi aici

"Alexander leads the NFL with 949 yards rushing and 14 touchdowns. His 88-yard run tied his own franchise record, and he joined Bo Jackson, O.J. Simpson and Ahman Green as the only players in history to have more than one scoring run of at least 88 yards.

And despite only carrying the ball 64 times his rookie year with four starts, his 86 touchdowns puts him third in NFL history for number of touchdowns after 88 games.

Talk about heavy duty company, he trails only Jim Brown (96) and Emmitt Smith (95) and is ahead of Jerry Rice (81). Regarding rushing touchdowns, his 76 scores trail Smith (91) and Brown (82), and are ahead of Eric Dickerson (74)."

I say that's pretty damn good

Kudos. Asa-i Alexander are un sezon excelent si nimeni nu-i acorda atentia necesara. E bun baiatul, practic cara 50% din ofensiva.

!!!! Stire bomba, cica Priest Holmes si-ar putea anunta retragerea din fotbal.

Iata ce a declarat Michael Vick despre o posibila venire a lui TO in Atlanta :

"He says he can play and he’s good. It’s not about if I can play with him, it’s if he can play with me and the way I play. This is my team, I run the ball more than other QBs and that would take away from his catches. If that works for him, he could be here. We’re about being a team. We don’t have selfish players here starting with me; we are a team. It would help to have him, but at the same time I feel like we have all the right pieces in place to be a winning football team"

"Consider what the franchise has endured from one man this season:

    # Owens ripping the franchise over his contract during the offseason and implying that management lies.

    # Owens taking a thinly veiled jab at Donovan McNabb for "getting tired" in the Super Bowl, then openly ignoring and feuding with his quarterback.

    # Owens arriving to training camp with a chip on his shoulder, then getting into confrontations with coach Andy Reid and offensive coordinator Brad Childress.

    # Owens saying that if he had to do it all over again, he never would have come to Philadelphia, nor attempted to return from last season's injury to play in the Super Bowl.

    # Owens wearing a Michael Irvin jersey after suffering a blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

    # Owens agreeing that the Eagles would be better off with Brett Favre at quarterback.

    # Owens essentially saying the franchise lacked class for not celebrating his 100th touchdown catch. "

So it's all about the money...

Plus ca ramsii se carau oricum, si ar fi ramas the only show in town...

    Miami Dolphins news :

    Staying grounded
Despite losing lost four of their last five games, the Dolphins (3-5) have a chance to gain a share of the AFC East lead with a win against the New England Patriots on Sunday at Dolphins Stadium. And to do that, expect Miami to use a lot of the running back tandem of Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams, who have combined to average 5.3 yards per carry and 133 a game over the past three weeks. "We look like a really good team when (Nos.) 23 and 34 have the ball," coach Nick Saban said of his runners. "Sometimes when we're doing other things, we don't look quite as good."

PLAYER OF THE WEEK --- fantasy ---
    "
    Shaun Alexander, RB, Seattle
: Seriously, what else can we say about Alexander? He's a must-start every week; he's the primary focus of the Seattle offense; he's tough to tackle and has great breakway speed; he can catch out of the backfield and also block for his quarterback; he has the potential for monster games like his 165-yard, three-touchdown effort in Week 10 vs. St. Louis, but will hardly ever rush for 10 yards and no scores; he's an honest guy who has excelled at football at every level; and he's a pretty nice guy and appreciates his Fantasy following. The bottom line is that if you ever even think about benching Alexander in the next few years, you shouldn't be playing this fine game."

A dat ghinionul peste Giants.

Week 11 injuries: Pro Bowlers go down

    NFL.com wire reports

(Nov. 20, 2005) -- Miami Dolphins linebacker Zach Thomas separated his right shoulder in a loss to Cleveland, and San Diego Chargers tight end Antonio Gates and Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Lito Sheppard sprained ankles in Week 11.

Thomas, a five-time Pro Bowl selection and the club's leading tackler, got hurt while trying to hit Browns rookie quarterback Charlie Frye in the first half of a 22-0 loss. Thomas charged Frye and tried to wrap his arms around the QB, who got off his throw.

After minimal contact, Thomas immediately grabbed his forearm and headed toward the sideline. He was helped off the field in obvious pain, treated on a trainer's table behind the bench and then driven to the locker room. He didn't return.

Dolphins coach Nick Saban said Thomas will undergo an MRI exam on Nov. 21.

"Zach is an outstanding player and a great leader," Saban said. "We certainly miss him when he's not in there. If he can't play, we will certainly miss that."

Thomas has led Miami in tackles in eight of the last nine seasons. He was credited with four stops before getting hurt.

Also, Dolphins linebacker Junior Seau left Browns Stadium with a walking boot on his left foot.

At East Rutherford, N.J., the Eagles' Sheppard sustained a high left ankle sprain in third quarter when he got tangled up with Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress on an incomplete pass. The Eagles originally announced the ankle was broken, but updated the diagnosis to a sprain after their 27-17 loss to New York.

Sheppard, who made the Pro Bowl last season, has 27 tackles, two interceptions and one sack this season.

For the Giants, center Shaun O'Hara sustained a sprained ankle and tackle Luke Petitgout injured a knee. Both finished the game on the sideline.

In San Diego, Gates sprained his right foot at the end of a 21-yard reception midway through the third quarter of the Chargers' rout of Buffalo. He was tripped up by Angelo Crowell and then had safety Lawyer Milloy land on him. The Chargers (6-4) aren't sure how long Gates will be out.

Gates, voted an All-Pro last year after setting an NFL record for tight ends with 13 touchdown catches, caught five passes for 77 yards and one touchdown. He has seven TD catches this year.

The New York Jets lost two quarterbacks. Brooks Bollinger took a hard hit from Denver's Al Wilson in the first quarter of a 27-0 loss to Denver and exited with a concussion that left him vomiting on the sideline. Vinny Testaverde replaced him, but had to leave in the fourth quarter after hurting his ankle.

Emergency quarterback Kliff Kingsbury mopped up, going 1-for-2 for 17 yards.

"Our quarterback situation is in shambles," Jets coach Herm Edwards said.

The 42-year-old Testaverde, who signed with his former team after injuries to Chad Pennington and Jay Fiedler, went 15-for-25 for 152 yards with two interceptions. Four of the first five drives he engineered ended in turnovers. Bollinger went 4-for-5 for 26 yards.

St. Louis Rams quarterback Marc Bulger bruised his right shoulder after getting sacked in the third quarter against Arizona.

Bulger, who missed two games with a sprained shoulder earlier this season, was hurt when blitzing safety Adrian Wilson came in clean and drove the quarterback's shoulder into the turf on an 11-yard sack.

Bulger left the field holding his throwing arm, and after medical attention on the bench, he walked to the locker room. This was his second start after missing two games with the previous shoulder injury.

Rams cornerback DeJuan Groce sprained his neck, and safety Adam Archuleta sustained a concussion when the pair collided on Arizona's first offensive play.

At Nashville, Jacksonville safety Nick Sorensen broke his right ankle just before halftime of the Jaguars' game against the Titans.

Sorensen was on a kick coverage unit and had run downfield after Titans returner Adam "Pacman" Jones when he collided with teammate Jamie Winborn. Jones finished off an 85-yard return, while Sorensen immediately began waving to his sideline for assistance.

At Chicago, Carolina starting middle linebacker Dan Morgan, also a Pro Bowl player, sprained his left ankle in the first quarter and didn't return. Morgan was helped off the field after being blocked on a run by the Bears' Thomas Jones. Morgan led the Panthers with 74 tackles entering the game.

Washington receiver James Thrash pulled a hamstring in the second quarter, and H-back Mike Sellers was hospitalized for a possible bruised kidney after a fourth-quarter clip by Isaiah Ekejiuba in the Redskins' 16-13 loss to Oakland.

Dallas tight end Brett Pierce tore a knee ligament in a win over Detroit, likely ending his season.

San Francisco running back Kevan Barlow sustained a concussion against Seattle. He had 21 yards on 12 carries and caught two passes for 17 yards before leaving the game in the second half.

Kansas City Chiefs defensive back Benny Sapp bruised his right hip when he was pushed to the ground by free safety Marcus Coleman on a punt return in the first quarter against Houston. He walked off the field with help.

Stiri despre meciul Giants - Seahawks :

Eli Manning and New York's offense have played really well, but as Vic Carucci notes in his Week 12 burning questions, the Giants will face a challenge in Seattle.

Do the New York Giants have what it takes to stop, or at least slow down, Shaun Alexander and the Seattle Seahawks' steamroller offense?

    No.

They shouldn't feel bad, though, because that's the case with most of the teams on Seattle's schedule. Alexander is too explosive, too powerful, too everything for an opposing defense to stop. The Giants' defensive front has been playing well lately, but it, too, is going to eventually be worn down by the relentless running of Alexander.

trebuie sa faca astia ceva cu Alexander...saa....saa...nu stiu...orice....just stop him !

Mai degraba vina trebuie cautata in alta parte.
