<p><strong>Die deutsche Kombinierer-Staffel hat beim Weltcup in Val di Fiemme als Sechste einen Podestplatz deutlich verpasst. </strong>Tino Edelmann (Zella-Mehlis), Thorsten Schmitt (Furtwangen), Doppel-Weltmeister Ronny Ackermann (Dermbach) und Vize-Weltmeister Björn Kircheisen (Johanngeorgenstadt) kamen nach jeweils zwei Sprüngen von der Normalschanze und dem 4x5-km-Langlauf 1:07 Minuten hinter den drittplatzierten Norwegern ins Ziel. Finnland siegte mit Schlussläufer Hannu Manninen vor Sprungsieger Österreich I.
