    Serena a primit un WC pana la urma. Simonica a are de aparat finala de anul trecut.

    La dublu, e primul turneu pentru Mirza si Hingis cand nu mai joaca impreuna. Cele 2 s-au despartit. Cica rezultatele sub asteptari din acest an, dar se pare ca motivul real e altul. Ar fi aparut ceva certuri intre ele si nu se mai intelegeau asa bine.

    After three Grand Slam victories and eleven WTA doubles titles together, we have mutually agreed that we would each be open to playing with other players for the remainder of the season. Perhaps, because of our great past results, we have had very high expectations from our partnership and unfortunately did not get the results we desired recently. We would like to clarify that it was a totally professional decision based purely on our recent results.
    The professional decision has not and will not in any way affect the wonderful personal relationship that we continue to share. We also look forward to defending our title in the year-end WTA Finals in Singapore in October for which Santina has already qualified.We hope that this puts to rest some of the fabricated stories that have been doing the rounds in some sections of the media.

    Depinde ce pareri au Kerber si Muguruza. Se pare ca e primul turneu anu asta in afara de RG in care iberica joaca ceva tenis!

    Nu se stie, eu zic c-o bate 2-0 si are meciu mai usor ca si Kerber!

    Eu mi-am calculat in cap in mare doar anu asta, e pe 3 in Race fara probleme!
    Race e aproape tot ce conteaza, desi pt USO conteaza clasamentul la zi, evident, dar cam doar pt USO, in rest Race rullz all next year.


    De la minge de 0-5 a revenit si putea face chiar 6-4 daca Aga n-ar fi reusit un pick up senzational la sp! Dar si asa a luat setul!
    De la 0-4 practic a luat 13 game-uri din ultimele 15 si setu 2 n-a avut adversar! Excelenta performanta, si un meci perfect pe care-l castigi 2-0 de unde primul set parea pierdut, exact ce are nevoie, un meci ce parea f greu pe care l-a castigat excelent inainte de meciurile cele mai grele, cu Kerber si probabil cu Muguruza desi ar fi infinit mai usor cu clienta ei Pliskova in finala!

    Si Kerber a fost testata serios dar de o jucatoare foarte buna dar totusi inferioara Agai ca joc, va fi o semifinala acerba!
    Simonica conduce la H2H deocamdata cu 4-2, ultima dintre ele tot pe teren american, in Canada!

    Dincolo, meciul bastarcoaicelor, neinteresant!
