Rose needs to penetrate and dish, as he's been doing all regular season, the same one that got the team 62 wins and him the MVP. Stop trying to score like MJ, Kobe, or even Durant, Wade, and Lebron. Those guys are SGs/Wings/Scorers...that's their job. Rose is a PG who needs to get guys easy buckets early, and then he can take ALL of the shots late.
We need to stop getting into these early holes every game, PERIOD.
2) Coach Thibs doesn't help either. He's changed his strategies and schemes from the regular season, the same one he's beat into every players' heads, but now he changes it.
Whereas every team usually goes with a rotation from 9 players in the regular season, they've all shrunk it down to 8 players. Bulls? We started with 10, and somehow we've gone up to an 11-player rotation. Just pick a backup Center, Kurt or Omer, and go with them. Stop giving them inconsistent minutes where they build no rhythm and end up being non-effective.
The great BENCH MOB has been minimized because they can't even break a sweat out there, so how do you expect them to get 'hot'? 4th QTs...sit Rose like you normally do. Stop expecting him to play the ENTIRE 2nd half with no break.
You want to argue other stars player 40+mins? I'll tell you those guys' game is on the perimeter (shooting) and Rose's 40+mins is getting bruised and battered (although tonight he got 0 free throw attempts)....kinda different.
And tonight, you're down 10+pts in the final seconds, why even keep the starters out there. To show us 'they play hard until the game is over'? Good, it's over, now Rose hurt his ankle again.
3) And finally...to those newbie fans, bandwagon fans, and fans with no basketball intellect....I hope losing this game finally makes you realize EVERYBODY plays hard in the playoffs, not just the Bulls. Where are all those predicted 4-0 sweeps? Yeah, that's right.
Or maybe you'll just ignorantly continue to babble on about 'Hawks won't shoot that good again' and 'Bulls won't play this bad again'...NEWS CHECK!!! Hawks shot the ball good last series, and Bulls played bad last series.
But what could I expect. Most of you follow Sam Smith. Well, as usual, Sam is wrong. He's suppose to be the 'expert' right? The guy so many of you follow. He predicted 4-0 sweep. My question is....after watching them all season and the 1st Round, Sam Smith and many of his followers thought Bulls would win in 4.
You should know by now Bulls are apt to always lose at least 1 game where they don't come with energy/urgency and other team shoots lights out. That's a given. Just like the 'revenge' game is a given (Bulls win next 1 guaranteed).
I guess that Indiana series wasn't a fluke huh.
