Robert Kranjec paid a big compliment to the organizers of ski flying events in Vikersund. "The hill is very modern. Compared to Planica it's safer because there you are about three times as high in the air at 170 m. Here you always have contact with the landing area", said the Slovene who set a new national record with 232 m in the qualification.

"Planica is also safe", Kranjec then said about his home hill, "But the flight is steadier and in Vikersund you don't fly that high. The Norwegians built a great ski flying hill". the 29-year-old told the website siol.net.

Praise also for Evensen

"The flight curve is totally different here. It's impressive how Evensen could jump that far. His 246.5 m are difficult to improve. You need to have excellent conditions for that", the fair sportsman said.

Haponen a cazut sau ce s-a intamplat?vad ca a sarit 240,0 m dar are punctaj foarte mic.A fost depasit si de Malysz si Morgi care nu au ajuns la 220,0m

bara de start a fost coborata de la nr.4 la nr.0 si la ceilalti li s-a dat 27,6 puncte in plus .
e drept Janne a primit si note f mici la stil de 16 si 16,5 .

Interesanta trambulina dar parca mai spectaculoasa este cea de la Planica chiar daca este mai mica parca zborurle sunt prea joase aici.

dupa parerea mea weekendul acesta a salvat un sezon care nu a fost pana acum deloc spectaculos .

Frumoase etape weekendul acesta. Bravo Johan!

Sper ca sezonul viitor sa vad nume noi in primele locuri: m-am saturat de Morgi, Schlieri, Ammann and co. Vreau niste norvegieni si niste finlandezi. E timpul ca nordicii sa revina!

Tom Hilde says that the new world record set in Vikersund confirms that the Norwegian ski jumpers are the toughest in the world. "I do not think so"- said the Austrian World Cup leader Thomas Morgenstern.

"The Norwegian jumpers like to have more speed. This is the difference between us and the foreign jumpers. The Norwegian jumpers are the toughest" -said Hilde to nrk.no. He improved his personal best by six meters when he jumped 223.5 meters in Vikersundbakken on Friday. "We need long jumps to make this sport interesting. We have a product to sell. We Norwegians have always been taught that high speed makes this sport a fun one" – he adds.

Overall World Cup leader Thomas Morgenstern does not agree. "I do not think so. Everyone wants more speed, but the athletes who do not make the longest jump in ski flying have to do better job in the future" - said the Austrian to nrk.no. On Saturday, he finished 12th in Vikersund with jumps of 174 and 202 meters. His teammate Gregor Schlierenzauer shared the victory with Johan Remen Evensen. At Saturday’s press conference the Austrian clearly stated that he thinks the speed was almost unacceptably high. "Safety is important. Today we jumped on the limit because it was difficult to land" - said Schlierenzauer who jumped 243.5 meters on Saturday.

Johan Remen Evensen set a world at a higher speed than what Schlierenzauer had at his longest jump on Saturday. Unlike the Austrian, Remen Evensen was glad to have received more speed. This way, he was also more offensive. "I can jump longer with more updrift" - he said. Anders Jacobsen won the national championship on the large hill at Holmenkollen with a jump of 142.5 meters, thanks to an offensive Norwegian jury who did not lower the speed. In comparison, his jump was longer than all the jumps in all competitions of the Four Hills Tournament. Sports Director Clas Brede Bråthen believes the national championships are the evidence that Norway is a champion of making long jumps and therefore has an important role in efforts to promote the ski sport. "We want to entertain. We know that jumping has to be daring and spectacular to maintain the sport's reputation."
- Are the Norwegian ski jumpers tougher than all other nations? "I know that at least we set more world records than others"- says Bråthen.

subscriu si eu...parca ne`ar fi durut si sufletul daca am fi vazut ca toata munca lui hoffer se duce de rapa...adica hoffer duce tot greul,ganditi`va doar la cat a sughitat, saracul,iar morgi intr`o permanenta lupta impotriva principalului sau adversar, vantul necrutator si cu un stil de un rafinament si o eleganta rar intalnita chiar si atunci cand are probleme si sta sa cada,e singurul saritor din lume care se impune doar prin numele sau, am avut ocazia de a vedea cum poti sa castigi o etapa zburand cu 38 de m mai putin fata de adversarul tau

,oare exista ceva mai frumos pe lumea asta

?Adica nu te intalnesti in fiecare zi cu asa ceva,ar fi comparabil doar cu o eclipsa sau ceva de genul asta...

Funny! sincer atunci cand nu a aterizat perfect Morgi nu merita locul ocupat..dar in celelalte competitii ce argumente ai ..in afara faptului ca a sarit mai putin si a avut punte mai multe...am urmarit atent si nu e singurul in cauza! sunt multi care sar mai putin si au puncte mai multe ca altii care sar mai mult! Iar bara nu se muta chiar in fata lui...ar fi fost culmea...vantul e instabil nu ai ce face iar notele pot fi singurele discutate...daca vrei.

Dar sincer nu mai conteaza...mult zgomot pt nimic...cu Hoffer sau fara ajutorul lui..ca ne place sau nu : Morgi a castigat!

@Ana: Si eu sper...el sau Schlieri! Sincer tin mai mult cu Schlieri! El si cu Kofler sunt preferatii mei din echipa Austriei oricum

sigur ca 38 de m nu sunt chiar atat de multi, e o diferenta recuperabila prin compensatii pentru morgi... acum chiar n`am chef sa ma apuc sa verific ... dar,intamplator e pe primul loc detasat si la acest capitol,sunt absolut convins fara sa verific,chiar nu are rost, consider ca e o pierdere de timp ... daca nu e asa inseamna ca nu stiu ce vorbesc... baiatul n`are nicio vina ...a speculat lipsa de forma si de constanta a tuturor adversarilor sai si cu putin ajutor a castigat detasat, pt mine nu e cine stie ce mare campion,este un saritor constant bun si atat,cand baietii sunt in forma termina sezonul pe 5 morgi,in sprijinul acesteti afirmatii iti aduc argumentul ca a castigat doar 7 etape intr`un sezon ... nu are niciun record de trambulina,iar in 2011 a castigat 2 etape din 15 cu tot sprijinul lui sep blatter asta...

iar la klingenthal a fost furt calificat,o mizerie...ma intreb daca diferenta fata de amman era mai mica si se intampla asa ceva cum era??acolo n`a castigat decat 40 de puncte fata de amman...

da si Ahonen nu castigase nici o etapa din 4HT si tot a castigat turneul.

dar in fine ai tu dreptatea ta..eu as fi de acord sa se elimine arbitrii...asa nu ar mai fi discutii cred!

si acest sistem de compensatii...pe langa toate hibele sale, chiar nu vi se pare ca de cand a fost introdus a cam disparut o parte din spectacol?!
