<p><strong>Die deutsche Frauenfußball-Nationalmannschaft hat sich für die Weltmeisterschaft in China 2007 qualifiziert.</strong> Die Auswahl des Deutschen Fußball-Bundes (DFB) gewann in Moskau gegen Russland mit 3:2 (3:0). Den achten Sieg im achten und abschließenden Qualifikationsspiel sicherten Sandra Smisek (32.), Kerstin Garefrekes (36.) und Birgit Prinz (45./+2) bei Gegentreffern von Natalia Barbaschina (84.) und Olga Kremlewa (90./+2).
