<p><strong>Die englische Premier League wird immer mehr zur Spielwiese von fußballbegeisterten Milliardären. </strong>Nachdem der Russe Roman Abramowitsch die Geschicke von Meister FC Chelsea, Klub von Nationalmannschaftskapitän Michael Ballack, bestimmt und der US-Amerikaner Malcolm Glazer beim 15-maligen Titelträger Manchester United das Sagen hat, übernimmt Glazers Landsmann Randy Lerner nun endgültig das Kommando beim siebenmaligen Meister Aston Villa. Seit Mittwoch ist die Übernahme durch eine von Lerner geführte Investorengruppe, die künftig 90 Prozent der Aktien hält, perfekt.
