    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6048922/

Tom Hanks (si scenarist) conduce convoiul si distrugatorul american Greyhound in lupta cu parsivele U-boat-uri.

The Big Red One 1980 6/10 - "Griff: I just can't murder anyone! The Sergeant: We don't murder; we kill. Griff: It's the same thing. The Sergeant: The hell it is! You don't murder animals, you kill them!" And that's about it, the rest is useless compared to common 2020 knowledge; but that little dialog of how a sergeant convinces his soldier to do his job is brilliant. Nowadays we kill hundreds of millions of animals yearly! And it's not even war time, we're just fat greedy fucks!
    Platoon 1986 7.5/10 - Well... it's good enough.
Born on the Fourth of July 1989 8/10 - Even better than I remember! The older you get, the better it is; similar to wine, with the exception that wine gets better with age, while this movie gets better the worse you get (old)!

LE: Leon 1994 10/10 - Jean Reno was ok in all of his movies, never brilliant, never bad, except for this one. This role of a brilliant cold blooded "cleaner" as well as a half wit at everything else, was a class original never to be approached again at this level! He fucking owned it! Bestiality of a movie! Love it! Also, I never quite liked Gary Oldman as much as in this movie ever again too, although unlike Reno, he did a lot of awesome roles in his tumultuous career.

V for Vendetta 2005 8.5/10 - Anthological movie. 1st half of this movie is a masterpiece, it could have been a complete masterpiece if the 2nd part would have concentrated a little more on a sequel than the symbol of the main hero which left me with a dry mouth - just because I understand it, doesn't mean I want it. They didn't want to make a sequel, but even so, I would have enjoyed it more with room for it. The movie is better if you don't watch Lord of The Rings or Matrix before, as V's voice is perfect for the role, but less perfect if you think behind the mask might be Lord Elrond or Agent Smith. ^^'

PS: Yes, this is the 3rd time I've seen this movie.

LE: Her 2013 9/10 - Such a beautifully sad movie! I've seen it once before, like half a decade ago, but I feel I forgot quite a bit out of it. And I didn't notice the main role was played by Joaquin Phoenix at that time, because he hadn't done Joker yet so he wasn't all that noticeable, and because in this movie he wears a mustache, covering his upper lip mark that makes him so easily distinguishable. The topic of AI is a complex topic, and I would have anticipated any AI from the moment of it's creation till the moment it leaves us behind would be a fascinating existence, and it would take the briefest of times between the 2 moments. This is a movie one should not miss, might that one be a boy or girl, a man or a woman.

My favorite part is when Dafoe tells Cruise "You weren't even there, man!", talking about war, then they both fought in their wheelchairs. lol Dafoe was right about Platoon, he was there but Tom wasn't.

am vazut How about Adolf? aka Der Vorname (pe HBO Go)
    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7477310/

    Wasp Network
    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6760876/

    Bone Tomahawk - 7/10
The Hills Have Eyes varianta western.

The Autopsy of Jane Doe - 7/10

    assassins creed - 2/10 - o mizerie. atat.

    Warrior 2011 8/10 - Now that's a fucking good movie!

The Imitation Game 2014 9/10 about the real life of Alan Tuning during WW2, the real inventor of the computer. Such a beautiful movie, I've seen it a few years back but I don't know why I didn't like it as much then, as now. Strange... Maybe it's because of the subtlety of the english language that you can't grasp reading a half-baked romanian subtitle: "Sometimes it is the people no one imagines anything of, who do the things that no one can imagine." This is said 3 times in the movie, completely opposite of being redundant, each time it's said, the better it sounds. Brilliant made.

Barton Fink 1991 8.5/10 or a slice from the life of the mind, how I'd like to call it. It's an objective 8.5 but for me it's a 10/10. Best movie Turturro has ever done and likely he'll ever do. I liked it even when I was young, but I adore it now. It gives you a graphic description of the struggles a beginner writer can have. 5 things:
    1. You create for a living. Even if most people don't give a shit, understanding less than that.
    2. Viewers might remember actors and directors, but actors, directors, producers and owners remember writers. Writers are the real people who create most out of everything that gets refurbished and compiled upon by the actors, producers and directors into the final piece that the viewers enjoy.
    3. I can relate, because I'm an amateur writer myself writing a poem here, a new scene out of my God of Pain scenery there, whenever I get the time and mood to get into the dream-like state (almost a voluntry psychosis) of pain that helps you create; that's why I love Barton Fink - the movie and the character, it tells you about the fears and hopes of the amateur writers as much as about the professionals, he being at the crossroads of both.
    4. The scene where he goes to celebrate his new born screenplay from the struggle of his loneliness, screaming "I create for a living!" while the sailors who were just there to have a good time before returning to their sea jobs spat on him, not giving 2 shits about what he's done or about what he has to say is my favorite. I scream internally too, for a shotgun and a shell to shoot them in their ballz, because a Barton Fink can do 50% of what a sailor does if hired on a cruse ship, but the whole God damn fleet of 100.000 sailors+marines can't do 10% of what a Barton Fink can if hired to write! And they can just suck his lonely d*ck. <<Epic scene for a person with a highly active life of the mind!>>
    5. You never know how your work might be received, a screenplay, a book or a poem is the hardest thing to judge. You could think it's stellar and be received as shit, or you could think it's mediocre and be one of the best of the year.
