Sunt la premiera filmului Amsterdam. O spun sincer ca nu m-a atras distributia (ok, poate putin fața mucilaginoasa a Andreei Riseborough), ci popcornul, berea si nacioșii. De fapt, ce voiam sa zic. Daca vreți sa ne batem, ma gasiți aici inca doua ore
Abia acum am realizat ca e o diferenta foarte mica intre Halloween si Bonfire night, adica intre doua dintre cele mai bune filme facute dupa bd-uri pe care le-am revazut saptamana asta: The Crow si V for Vendetta. Filme vechi care merg si azi, parfumul asta gotic romantic e etern.
Scenarii excelente, casting perfect. O nota aparte pentru Michael Wincott in primul, joc, voce si mecla inegalabile.

Ce tare. Asta, M Wincott, avea un frate care aparea in toate filmele de actiune din anii 90, pe nume Jeff Wincott. Un baiat asa blondut, nu foarte figurant, purta mereu pantaloni pensati si, in general, nu prea dadeai 2 bani pe el pana iti facea spagatul in picioare si iti zbura capul de pe umeri. Ce vremuriExista un post al firmei de cablu (nu astral, era vb despre digi-ul de azi) care dadea numai casete video cu Jef Wincott, Cinthia Rothrock, toata spuma eroilor de actiune, serie B, C si D, din acei ani.
Cred ca romania duce lipsa unui film cu titlul Lacrimi din pisda. Nu stiu, cand ma gandesc la tara mea, titlul asta mi se pare cel mai potrivit. Cred ca tuturor filmele care se fac aici li s-ar potrivi acest titlu.
Am vazut vreo tona de filme proaste, execrabile, jegoase, de genul Amsterdam. Despre care nu ai ce sa dezbati, e perfect normal sa iti borasti matzele la peste doua ore de borhot si diarhee. O risipa incredibila de actori, pelicula si mortii lor.
Un indie asa mai interesant, cel putin in prima jumatate e deosebit, Emily the criminal, cu Aubrey Plaza.
Altul cat de cat, To Leslie, cu superkalifragilistika Andrea Riseborough in rolul unei tarfe drogate. Si, in final, in meortii lui, cred ca e si cel mai bun love story pe 20 22, si asta fara sa verse o singura lacrima din pisda, cum se intampla in clasicele de gen. Recomand pt rol principal. Mi se umfla vezica daca o baga iar pe Viola Davis in suflatoare, la rol principal. Hai sa ne bagam pla in ma-sa, astia nici nu se uita la filme, doar la arborele genealogic.
Am fost si suficient de snob sa vad primul Lars von Trier, ceva cu povestea unei crime intr-un viitor cand omenirea e dusa pe pla. Filmat asa intr-o pacla deasa, ca dupa explozia de la Mihailesti, m-am mirat sincer ca am scapat fara conjunctivita. Intr-adevar, nu e un film rau, dar lui Ridley Scott i-a iesit mult mai bine Blade runnerul. Element of crime se numeste filmul, care e mai putin despre crima si mai mult despre, well, mortii ei.

The Farm 2018 3/10 - Ati auzit de filme de categoria B? Cu buget redus? Asta e undeva la E spre F, nota de 3.7/10 de pe IMDB e mult prea mare, nici macar cand taia sa cada matzele nu pot arata decat niste matze de porc intr-o fusta ruinata, absurd de slab film.
Smile 2022 8/10 - Cu totul altceva, la polul opus avem unul din cele mai bune horror-uri facute vreodata in opinia mea. Ba are si trailer care nici nu e din film, atat de bun e.E totusi un 8 tras de coada, pacat de final, c-ar fi fost un 8 solid. Dar se zice ca nu e despre destinatie, ci despre calatorie.

Cinematografia romaneasca nu a fost niciodata mare insa dupa revo a fost acaparata de o generatie emo marcata de comunismul pe care in mare parte dintre ei nu l-au trait prea mult si de abordarea exagerat de neagra si fatalista a vietii. Asta pentru ca intelectualismul la romani se limiteaza la o combinatie regretabila de filosofie fatalista germana si pasunarism mioritic. Estetica uratului este si ea marca nationala iar daca la nordici asta poate crea demente dark interesante, la noi genereaza in principiu jeg vizual si moral. In fine, nu sunt eu ala care sa judec oameni cu carte.
As fi vrut sa vad Amsterdam insa daca e asa de rau precum spui atunci mai aman pana cand o fi de pomana si cu posibilitate de fast forward. Are intr-adevar o colectie generoasa de actori cu nume.
As remarca insa prezenta lui J D Washington, un actor plat si lipsit de charisma insa probabil bine impins din spate de umbra lui tac'so la Hollywood. Drept dovada stau rolurile din filmele unde e titular aka Tenet, mega-flapsul lui Nolan in care juniorul pare pierdut in zona, si Beckett, un film de actiune extrem de prost transformat in parodie proasta datorita suferintei de caine haituit a lui Washington jr care devine comica prin repetitie.

Conspiracy, teleplay englezesc despre intanirea inter-ministeriala de la Wannsee din vremea lui Hitler pentru a gasi modalitati de a rezolva problema evreiasca. O discutie mai mult decat cinica, moderata de Heydrich, organizata de aghiotantul Eichmann. Despre cum se scriu pagini negre ale istoriei la o intalnire intre birocrati, la un conac langa Berlin, unde intr-o atmosfera relaxata, profesionala, se discuta legalitatea, oportunitatea si impactul in diverse domenii a institutionalizarii crimelor in masa.
Scenariu excelent, scene si replici memorabile, cu Keneth Brannagh, Stanley Tucci, Colin Firth.

Barbarian 2022 6.5/10 - Decent horror. The black girl is good. Want to see more movies with her, she knows how to care a movie through.
The Black Phone 2021 7/10 - One of the better horrors out there. Still not unmissable. Closer to a psychological thriller than a horror.
Black Adam 2022 8/10 - Felt more like an origin story for The Justice League. Hope that's what it was, especially the after credits that one can always anticipate with DC & Marvel. Wonder how Black Adam and Shazam both fit the picture though. About the movie itself, I expected better but was good enough in the end. The slow motion at the start is how a slow motion should be made, reminded me of Quick Silver from X-Men: Days of Future Past, now that one is a mark point.

Ca se plimba ăla, despre care toata lumea stia ca era mascat, intr-o dubă de clovn magician prin oras, cand voia pla lui? Helou, clovn, magics, mask? A, nu. Ca, procedural, politia sare pe cai dupa o viziune a unui copil? Ca, bineinteles, se duce la adresa de peste drum, nu la aia bună? Ca fraxu, care statea peste drum, nu banuia nimic, desi era obsedat de caz si ar fi trebuit sa vada ca masina pleca si venea ziua si noaptea? Bine, altfel a fost superb 🤣
A fost mijto pt un singur lucru. Baiatul avea abilitatati, ca maxa si sor'sa, adica putea comunica cu mortii, iar telefonul era doar disimularea trucului magic pt spectatori. Oricum, prea putin si prea imbecil, ca s-o spunem p-a dreapta 🤣
Nu a fost rau, ca film nu ca horror. Adica ca si triller psihologic sa zicem c-a mers.
I-am dat 7 ca a imbinat treaba aia cu horror-ul destul de ok.
The Professor 2018 9/10 - Johnny Depp in "A college professor lives his life with reckless abandon after being diagnosed with a terminal illness." An absolute must watch movie. The way he acts, behaves, talks, all brilliant. Funny and tragic movie, Depp gives his best performance in any movie imo, portraying a best picture out of the ordinary literature-ridden intellectual. I mean, I have never given more than an 8.5 to any of his movies, the best to date being What's Eating Gilbert Grape where he was like 16 and DiCaprio 12. But this for me was pure delight of pleasure and pain, simultaneously. And I especially enjoyed his perspective as an english teacher, all the rest of the professions being for cynical and materialist characters, thus his students not enough invested in literature, dispatching of them like the idiots they are right from the bat. Superb!

Amantul doamnei Chatterley, cel nou. Pt ce s-a făcut aceasta noua ecranizare? Pt mai mult futai, e simplu. Sunt 4 scene, de unde ecranizarile vechi se bazau pe două mari si late. Si una una mai soft asa, ca alea in care juca Bănică, in anii 90). Filmul e mizerabil, bineinteles. Ce mi-a atras atentia, ca Joely Richardson (apropo, a imbatranit si asta ca dreacu'), care fusese protagonistă in varianta cu Sean Bean, e acum slujnică si duce țucalul. Mdea, jalnic, suficient de mediocru sa intre direct in trend. 1/10, cat **** mea.
Neudentificat, aka Polițist, boschetar! Kitsch-thriller romanesc pe netflix. Are asa dîn toate, adica plictiseala, actorie, lăbăreală si un scenariu cu un mecanism extrem de complicat, cat sa fie aproape ridicol. Dar sunt chestii mijto, actorul e ff tare. Vasile Gigel, actor din Ploiesti, nu auzise nici dreacu' de el). Film aproape comercial cand e thriller si discutabil cand incepe sa flatuleze neo-noir. Bai, trebuie sa sprijinim filmul comercial romanesc. Asta e, **** mea, like. 6 5/10. PS. A, da. Bă, voi știți ce piept are Kira Hagi? Face asta un stop pe țițe si unui sifonier 🤓

L-am vazut si eu si subscriu la ce spui: Farcas foarte bun, la fel si restul distributiei, filmul e facut bine.
Altfel subiectul o ia pe aratura bine, e dementa cinematografiei romanesti de a avea filme soc cu subiecte extreme si negative.
Ma rog, e semn ca si ai nostri pot face candva un film politist decent, sper sa vina si timpul si scenariul potrivit.

De fapt, nu-mi place ca nu inteleg nimic decat ca nu-i place, nu e de acord si ca totul e de kkt, dar nu stim despre cine si ce.

God on Trial 2008 9/10 - Now this is a fking amazing movie, if I ever heard of one. I've seen it like several years back and I remembered that I must see it again, and I've just seen it twice, it's better than I remember, maybe I had a smaller brain back then, didn't understand english all that well.
The last 25 minutes of the movie are absolutely fking stellar 11/10, 4 things happen:
1. The testimony of the Jew french scientist, encompassing science and God, reconciling whatever can be reconciled between them
2. The judges panel deliberation that only the viewer has access to, more like the head judge's monologue about his true self, also the german's view upon the whole thing
3. The Jew guy out of nowhere that has made a study of the cases God handled in a brutal way along the Old Testament, especially taking into account the views of the receivers of God's wrath
4. The selection at the end who's going to live and who's going to die. The preselection told us to the left were the Jews that were old, diseased or have a deficit and could not work well, to the right were the young, strengthy and able Jews that would make good workers, so they settled their mind like that "We to the right live and you to the left die", more or less. But the selection at the end showed us the germans were far more devious, they picked people from both the left and the right, to my mind they picked some old people that could've died working and the best and strongest of the young people so they discouraged a possible uprising, leaving alive just the middle people. Only upon 3rd viewing I realized this: Some of the strongest looking ones = out, some of the weakest looking ones = out, leaving behind just the middle part, cutting off the extremes. Savage selection.
I've got my own interpretation on these events, unlike the people that offered testimony, but I'm not gonna get into it, what I'm gonna say is that their testimony and their judgements are very well thought of, written and delivered for us to to enjoy. Truly unmissable movie.

M3GAN 2022 8/10 - I must say I liked this movie a lot although it's not all that much of a horror, more like a thriller, or maybe I've just become accustumed to a lot of horrors to be impressed by this point. But what I've been impressed with, because I ready myself to be impressed since I've seen the trailer is that superb doll M3gan, I absolutely loved her! Despite the fact I anticipated the last 3rd / turd of the movie in which she is being made to look like a combination of Skynet and The Terminator, she's every kid's dream for a childhood friend. I wish I had a friend such as her to scare shitless all my bullies, truly any and all nasty people that want my harm for retarded reasons. I will watch again and again the 1st 2 thirds of the movie in which she excels, because... it's simply excellent.
With a decent ending, they would have hit the jackpot, not to be.
10/10 1st 2 thirds of the movie, 3/10 the last = 8/10.
NOTE: M3GAN actually sings "Titanium" better than Sia! Dium!
I already watched / listened to that part for what must be over 20 times.
LE: Just found out the sequel M3GAN 2.0 will be available in about 2 years time, my guess is to continue the 10/10 1st part of the movie and cut out the last one, or at least reshape it. Great news!One could easily make a great drama instead of a repetitive horror ending, with a proper great ending script. But for that you need a lot of inspiration, that's why dramas win Oscars while horros don't.

Wakanda Forever 2023 7.5/10 - Meeeeh.... Comparing the budged of this to M3GAN 7.5 is like a 5. Not too bad, not better, not worse than the original. I was never a fan of Black Panther, it's not one of the best Marvel movies imo. But it's good enough.

operation mincemeat - 8/10 - o adaptare putin prea romantica dupa operatiunea din ww2, care a fost una din cele mai mari pacaleli tactice. matt macfadyen remarcabil.
glass onion - 9/10 - un comedioara inteligenta, investigation shit gen stil agatha christie, dar mult mai pe "zilele noastre". un film care m-a binedispus, dupa o zi cretina... mi-a placut daniel craig si kate hudson (almost famous)

mirciulica - 6/10. o nota de trecere pt un film romanesc banal, dar care nu intra in tiparul cretin al cinematografiei romanesti. actiunea este la gherla si la chinteni, dar n-avem faianta si apa murdara la robinet. asta deja este un mare +.
prey 7/10 - franciza predator, avp 'n shit a intrat deja intr-un cliseu prea gretos, dar asta este un pic mai de doame'ajuta.
true spirit - 10/10. nota o dau foarte subiectiv: filmul, in sine, e de 7..ish, dar este singurul film despre jessica watson, pe care o admir de foarte multi ani. oricum recomand filmul pt o duminica plictisitoare cu o bere in mana.
team building - de ce nu? este o ora si ceva mai agreabila decat sa speli acvariul, sau sa-ti schimbi kitul de lant la motocicleta... nu dau nota, ca n-are sens.
ford vs ferrari - 9/10. nu stiu cat de autentica este povestea nefiind musai un fan al curselor de la le mans (sau a frantei, poporului francez, culturii franceze si alte metastaze social-politice ce tin de acest hexagon), dar matt damon si christian bale sunt geniali in acest film. aflu acum ca ford a vrut sa cumpere scuderia. oricum recomand filmul.
up in the air - 10/10. vedeti filmul si gata. dau nota maxima ca-mi regasesc niste ani din viata fiind ryan bingham.
life of pi - 8/10. 90% din film ma intrebam ce kkt e fantezia asta, finalul m-a lamurit.
airport - 7/10 - film din 1970. film "comercial" pt promovarea lui 707, dar ok.

Robot and Frank 2012 7/10 - Nice movie, but quite simplistic. You always expect something epic to happen but it never does. A worse version of Robin Williams's Bicentennial Man 9/10, that has that epic moment when he is refused to be recognized as human and kept as simple appliance in worth, he answers to the panel of judges "One is happy to be of service!". That was a superb teary moment in a superb SF, no such thing here but it's a very enjoyable movie deserving of a looksie.
The Menu 2022 7/10 - A decent suspense / horror if nothing else. If you like Ralph Fiennes it's a must see, he gives a stellar performance if only him and no one else. My favorite Ralph Fiennes movie is Quiz Show way back from '94. That's a solid 8/10, if you haven't seen it, you know what to do! It's simply vibes that movie, Ralph excels. In my humble opinion it's the role that upbrought him straight up to a class actor, pretty much what Equillibrium 8.5/10 (and American Pshycho) did back in 2002 for Christian Bale.

Pe lângă Mirciulică, o catastrofa a scolii ardelene de comedie, Teambuilding pare Farmecul discret al burgheziei. Nici nu stiu cand am mai vazut 50 de minute atat de jalnice, inainte sa ii dau șatdaunu'. 0/10?
