    Opera. Am si un kit de FireFox pe undeva prin computer, dar m-am obisnuit cu Opera si momentan n-am chef sa schimb browser-ul

    din cate stiu eu, Opera "aduce si un banner" care pe mine m-ar enerva. Firefox se misca bine tinand cont ca e pe Java.

    Pacala, daca esti pe Linux nu mai ai nevoie de BD...

    la opera am probleme destul de mari cand deschid mail-ul de yahoo. mai mult ghicesc butoanele. in rest, e preferatul meu, pentru ca are optiuni pe care nu le-am gasit la ie.

    dar are Firefox-ul si se misca destul de repede; in plus nu prinde "scame" pentru IE !

    Firefox a depasit deja 10.000.000 downloaduri
    Ce imi place ca au imbunatatit sistemul de extensions, acum merge aproape impecabil.

    mai este unul : maxthon. tot multi tab.

    parerea mea este ca functionarea ie-ului depinde f mult de sistem. pot sa zic ca pe compul de la work nu a dat nici un rateu. si ma prinde taskbaru cu 10 ie-uri deschise. dar si compul este impecabil ,....

    (nici nu am voie sa instalez altceva )

    nu are a face. stiu pe cineva care are un calc. beton dar nu poate sa modifice (in IE) URL Address direct; foloseste doar CTRL+O (Open).

    Make Firefox Faster!

    I found this on another website:

    Here's something for broadband people that will really speed Firefox up:

    1. Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

    network.http.pipelining
    network.http.proxy.pipelining
    network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

    Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.

    2. Alter the entries as follows:

    Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

    Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

    Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.

    3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.

    If you're using a broadband connection you'll load pages 2-3 times faster now.

    Mi-am schimbat browserul...cum schimb votul?

    bog_tom, ai dreptate, opera are un banner care nu dispare decat daca cumperi produsul. Pe mine insa nu ma deranjeaza.

    cand am zis ca o sa mearga mai repede m-am referit la browser (TAB-uri, cache, proxy, samd).

    iti dai seama ca daca ai net prin dialup chiar si cu un Silicon Graphics nu o sa-ti mearga netu' mai bine...
