You know what else happened?
Coach Manolo Cintron unveiled the next great star of Puerto Rico, Javier Mojica.
In 15 minutes, Mojica went from nobody to a very important somebody.
He buried two three-pointers and finished with nine points and seven rebounds.
"The day before we left Puerto Rico, that's when I found out that I was going to play in the national team," Mojica said to FIBA.Com.
"It was like a dream come true."
"Put the performance into perspective," I said.
"This is the greatest achievement of my career, to be able to be fighting for an Olympic team is a great blessing," he said.
