God I would love to go to Romanian Nationals one day!!!!!
But I will not be able to go this year for sure! I just don`t really have enough money to travel much, so I mostly have to keep it inside of Germany.....

By the way.....did anyone hear about how Ana Maria did this weekend? She was supposed to compete in Italy in their leagues, wasn`t she?

On one hand it is sad to read Mr. Forminte has decided to not send any girls to World Cups for the next months, but on the other hand it`s reasonable what he says. Maybe after Cerasela got unjured he really does not want to take any risk.
I consider myself lucky now, that Stela and Sandra have been in Cottbus!!!

I don't know whether you are interested in MAG, but this weekend the junior boys will compete in Holland. Sadly if wille be quite far away from my home and I have a sportmatch myself, so I cannot attend.

Thank you for all the information - also on Ana Maria. It seems the competition did not go too bad for her. After all it was just one week after Europeans, and there she left a great impression for sure.

yes, that's a pretty positive article

It basically says that the girls have resumed training (2 times per day). Mr. Forminte says that the Europeans are history now, that they got over them. Everybody seems more motivated now, especially the girls who didn't make it into the team in France.
The girls who have chances to make it into the team at the Olympics are (besides Nistor, Izbasa, Tamirjan, Patrascu and Dragoi): Andreea Acatrinei, Dana Druncea, Andreea Grigore, Madalina Gutu, and even (!!) Aluissa Lacusteanu.
"Druncea got over the dissapointment of not being in the team at the Europeans and now she's working very hard, just like Grigore and Acatrinei. Everybody has the same chance to get into the team. Even Lacusteanu is an option, she's already working on all 4 apparatuses. The basic elements are ok for her and she has already also the acrobatic line. She made the most progress on the UB, that is why I have hopes that she'd come back." (Forminte)

Yap, he didn't mention none of these girls: Alina Stanculescu, Alexandra Ghita, Adriana Tamarjan. Is there any other gymnast not mentioned? I hope they are ok, as I also hope Stanculescu would make the team...maybe if she gets a good vault, and very good beam and floor, she can be there...I don't know which is her level right now, since the competition in Greece, but I would have LOVED seeing her with a 15.800-16.000 BB and more than 15.000 on FX.

Yes, about Aluissa that sounds great - very positive!! She must be working hard to get everything back. But I am also sad to not read the name of Alina Stanculescu in that article. Over the past months it seemed she was coming back nicely!! Too bad there is no word on Ghita any more or on Adriana....I really wonder about them also.....

Alexica Hilteanu (9 years, CSS Buzau) won 5 medals. Gold on bars and floor.

Boys: Andrei Arghir won gold on high bar in the category until 11 years, Adrian Ghionea won bronze on vault in that same category. Both are from Buzau
