<p><strong>Lucian Bute ist neuer Profibox-Weltmeister im Supermittelgewicht nach Version der International Boxing Federation (IBF). </strong>Der im kanadischen Quebec lebende, gebürtige Rumäne entthronte am Freitagabend in Montreal den Kolumbianer Alejandro Berrio durch technischen K.o. in der elften Runde und gewann damit auch seinen 21.Profikampf. Berrio musste seine sechste Niederlage im 32. Profikampf hinnehmen. Der Südamerikaner verteidigte die Krone zum ersten Mal. Berrio hatte sich das Championat am 4.
