<p><strong>Nach zehn Spielen Verletzungspause hat David Beckham sein Comeback bei den Los Angeles Galaxy gegeben. </strong>Der englische Nationalspieler, der in der 68. Minute eingewechselt wurde, konnte beim 1:1 gegen die New York Red Bulls allerdings keine Akzente setzen. Los Angeles ging in der 15. Minute durch Troy Roberts in Führung, New York glich nur eine Minute später durch Jozy Altidore aus. Durch das Remis erlitten die Playoff-Hoffnungen der seit nunmehr sieben Spielen ungeschlagenen Galaxy einen Dämpfer.
