    And, kid, cut out this fancy stuff - go in there, low and hard;
    Just keep your eye upon the ball and plug on, yard by yard,
    And more than all, when you are thrown or tumbled with a crack,
    Don't sit there whining-hustle up and keep on coming back;

    Nu in asta consta caracterul unui jucator, ci mai degraba in faptul ca nu vrea sa vorbeasca cu nici un coechipier(nici macar cu capitanul echipei) si nu s-a prezentat nici macar la nunta celui mai bun prieten al lui (Spezza).

    After a 16-year NHL career, Sergei Zubov is heading home as the 39-year old blueliner has signed with SKA St. Petersburg of the KHL.

    Zubov, who has spent his last 12 seasons with the Stars, only played 10 games with Dallas in 2008-09 because of a hip injury that required surgery. In those 10 contests, he recorded four assists.

    The Moscow-native was drafted by the New York Rangers in 1990 with the 85th overall draft pick. Known as one of the better puck-moving defenceman and power play specialists of the last decade, Zubov has 152 goals and 619 assists in 1068 career games.

    He helped the Rangers capture the Stanley Cup in 1994 then helped lead the Dallas Stars to their first Cup in franchise history in 1999. He also captured an Gold medal for the Commonwealth of Independent States at the 1992 Olympics.

    Naslund,Sakic,acu Zubov

    La anul o sa dispara si Selanne,Modano,Niedermayer, s-ar putea si Lidstrom.

    Numa Chelios ramane ..sa vedem daca il mai ia cineva,pt ca Detroit l-a anuntat deja ca nu mai intra in planurile lor(finally)

    Kane arrested, pleads not guilty to robbery charge

    Monday, 08.10.2009 / 12:47 PM / News
    By NHL.com Staff
    Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane, the top pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, has pleaded not guilty to a charge of felony robbery after he and a cousin were arrested in the early hours Sunday morning for allegedly attacking a cab driver who couldn't make proper change for their fare.

    The 20-year-old Kane and cousin James Kane, 21, had apparently taken a cab from the downtown nightclub district in Buffalo, N.Y., Patrick Kane's hometown, around 4 a.m., according to local police. When the cab driver came up 20 cents short of the change owed on the fare, the Kanes allegedly took their money back and attacked the driver. The attack caused cuts to the driver's face and damaged his glasses, police spokesman Michael DeGeorge said.

    Patrick Kane and his cousin were each charged with felony robbery in addition to misdemeanor counts of theft of services and criminal mischief. WIVB-TV in Buffalo reported Kane pleaded not guilty to those charges in local court later Sunday.

    A hearing has been scheduled for next Monday, a court spokeswoman said. Orientation camp for the U.S. Olympic Men's Hockey team also opens that day, and USA Hockey spokesman Dave Fischer said Kane is still expected to participate in the three-day event.

    NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly released a statement saying: "We are aware of the incident. We don't condone or approve of what has been suggested the facts are. We are looking into it ourselves."

    Kane and fellow second-year star Jonathan Toews helped Chicago end a seven-year postseason drought and led the Blackhawks to the Western Conference Finals last season. Kane followed up a rookie season in which he registered 21 goals and 72 points by putting up 25 goals and 70 points in the regular season, then adding 9 goals and 14 points in 16 Stanley Cup Playoff games.

    "He is a big part of our organization and a team leader and we stand behind him," Blackhawks spokesman Brandon Faber said. "As we are still collecting all the facts, it would be premature to comment further at this time."

    Marele Jagr are mari sanse sa ajunga la Edmonton. Dupa ce a declarat ca Edmonton ar fi singura echipa la care ar incerca o revenire in NHL,acum Renney care l-a antrenat pe Jagr in New York antreneaza Oilers si Flemming tocmai a fost angajat ca antrenor secund (a fost antrenorul lui Jagr anul trecut in Rusia) ...se pare ca se pregatesc pentru venirea lui Jagr. Ca sa nu mai spun ca venirea in Canada l-ar ajuta sa inchege o mai buna relatie de joc cu amicul Hemsky si n-ar avea nevoie de o perioada de adaptare prea mare la clima de acolo. Deci , toate sperantele in Jagr

    Ce parere aveti de Oilers , cea mai mare dinastie din Canada? e adevarat ca Montreal are mai multe cupe , dar majoritatea castigate cand bunica era inca fata mare

    Jagr ar fi castig si pentru NHL , acum 2 ani in playoff cand au jucat Rangers vs Pens , JJ si-a elevat atat de mult jocul ca ajunsese usor la nivelul lui Crosby/Malkin .

    Misto clipulet , l-am vazut over and over again ....

    si asta de la Sens

    Jagr vorbeste multe si e greu de luat in serios. in iarna zicea ca ar juca pentru salar minim la Penguins doar pentru ca ii datoreaza asta lui Lemieux. in fine,mare mare jucator,foarte sucita minte.
    in alta ordine de idee Heatley + 5th la Sharks pentru Michalek,Cheechoo + 2nd. Thornton + Heatley suna excelent pentru sezonul regulat,dar ramane de vazut cum pot ajuta Shark cand va conta mai mult,in play-off. mai ramane de semnat Kessel de la Bruins,care se pare ca se indreapta inspre Leafs.
