<p><strong>Michael Schumacher hat im ersten Training zum Großen Preis von China den vierten Platz belegt. </strong>Der Formel-1-Rekordweltmeister benötigte in Schanghai für die schnellste seiner insgesamt nur vier Runden auf dem 5,451 km langen Kurs 1:37,712 Minuten. Ferrari-Fahrer Schumacher hatte damit einen Rückstand von 2,138 Sekunden auf Alexander Wurz. Der österreichische Williams-Testfahrer stellte in der ersten Übungseinheit die Bestzeit (1:35,574) vor dem Honda-Testfahrer Anthony Davidson (Großbritannien/+0,017 Sekunden) auf. Der in der WM-Wertung vor den drei letzten Saisonrennen nur noch zwei Punkte vor Schumacher rangierende Titelverteidiger Fernando Alonso (Spanien) ließ zum Auftakt des Rennwochenendes seinen Renault noch in der Box.</p><div style="margin: 5px 0 5px 0; font: 10px arial; color: #999; clear: both;">
