Nationalelf: Hoeneß stärkt Lehmann den Rücken

<p><strong>Fußball-Nationaltorhüter Jens Lehmann hat in seinem Kampf um den Stammplatz bei der EM 2008 in Österreich und der Schweiz einen unerwarteten Fürsprecher gefunden. </strong>Bayern-Manager Uli Hoeneß hat sich mit deutlichen Worten dafür ausgesprochen, Lehmann trotz seiner derzeitigen Reservistenrolle beim englischen Tabellenführer FC Arsenal im Tor der Nationalmannschaft bei der EM einen Stammplatz zu garantieren. ,,Lehmann ist ein super Tormann. Er hat es verdient, die EM 2008 zu spielen. Aufgrund seiner Leistungen muss er einfach für Deutschland spielen", sagte Hoeneß am Rande des Bundesligaspiels von Rekordmeister Bayern München beim VfL Bochum (2:1) am Samstag. </p><div style="margin: 5px 0 5px 0; font: 10px arial; color: #999; clear: both;">
