Filme pe care le-am vazut in ultima vreme

Howl's Moving Castle 2004 8.5/10 - One of the greatest cartoons/anime movies I have ever seen. Oddly missed, up until this night! :unsure: Most definitely better than Grave of the Fireflies that just makes one choke at times, better than Akira, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away or such. Not by much, but by enough distance to be said for certain.

Short story: a young girl unsatisfied with her looks has the misfortune to fall under a bad witch's heartless spell turning her into a 90 year old granny. After she quickly understands there's nothing more to lose as not only the little beauty she possessed has left her but also her health, she learns that what little self remains can make one much happier if put in the service of others rather than herself. That and a lot of magic happening alongside her troubles.

I didn't expect it to be such a good one especially since the character art seems old and cartoonish, but in the end it was a sort of anime meets Disney and it worked out great. The art was considerably worse than Frozen that everyone is hype about in this last some years, but the story makes up for it, and if you look at the big picture of it all, in the end, Frozen's got nothing on this! :) (Except better music and character graphic, as this one was not a musical.) If the character art would be decent, this would be a solid 9.

This cartoon/anime movie has reminded me of Ultear from Fairy Tail for obvious reasons and also of my favorite drama Little Princess Sara that makes me feel the ecstasy of pain every time I watch it, as the character graphics are similar, although 20 years apart. HA! A true gem! I needed to watch about 25 so called glorified movies lately to get to this one, and from all of those only another 2 or 3 maybe worth diagnosing, which I may do later as they wore good movies indeed.

Out of that 25, I have left the only animated one at the end as I figured it's gonna be the most boring and unsatisfying one. HA! Turns out it was the best one! Just life! :)

Den of thieves, slabanovici si plictisescovici. 5/10 pt cateva impuscaturi corecte, in rest am stat pe telefon si-am facut sudoku.

Lasa ca-nvata si ei stilul romanesc de-a vorbi, nothing wrong with that! ;)

The beach - 8/10
Mi-a placut acest rol al lui Di Caprio, iar filmul a avut coerenta, mai putin la faza aia cu binoclul care batea la distanta enorma.

The darkness - 6/10
Aveam asteptari mai mari de la el, dar au fost doar vreo 2 scene mai reusite. Din trailer ma asteptam la ceva mai original.

Black Panther 2008 6.5/10 - In the end it was acceptable compared to average movies but that's not really what we want, we want a good movie and this barely classifies. Fighting scenes mediocre, story like poor, characters mediocre... I was about to give it a 5.5/10 because it's MARVEL and you can't not pass MARVEL! But the ending where they played with their vibratium toys a little more saved it a point. It's a pity I can't watch Infinity War yet as I hear good things about it, but in about 2 months I will, this was probably weak shit compared to that.

Avengers Infinity war - 7/10
Bunicel, dar finalul i-a saltat mult nota. Mi s-a parut ca a avut cam multe lipsuri.

Cel mai tare m-a suparat faza ca Vision, din acea fiinta superioara foarte puternica, a ajuns sa-l faca aia ca pe o carpa. Deci pana si Black Widow, fara super-puteri ii era superioara.
Apoi, Spider Man era cam retardat.

Am avut niste zboruri ceva mai lungi in ultima saptamana, si am vazut asa:
Blade Runner 2049: 8/10 pentru ca mi-a placut povestea si primul.

Jumanji 2: 7/10 dragut, usor, amuzant. O continuare care reuseste sa depaseasca originalul.
Black Panther: 4/10 in general nu ma omor dupa Marvel sau DC Comics, dar filmul asta e prost in mod special.
Darkest Hour: 9/10 Cand il pui pe Gary Oldman sa recite probabil cele mai celebre discursuri din istorie, nu poate sa iasa ceva rau. In opinia mea, foarte bine jucat de Gary Oldman, iar nevasta-sa (Kristin Scott Thomas) si Halifax (Stannis din GoT) nu sunt nici ei rai deloc. Mi s-a parut si foarte bine filmat, murdar, aproape alb-negru, redand senzatia epocii.
The Foreigner: 8/10 Mai bun decat ma asteptam, atat Jackie Chan cat si Pierce Brosnan au reusit sa ma surprinda prin prestatia avuta. Un thriller serios, clasic, fara floricele tehnologice. Mi-a adus un pic aminte de Heat.
The Babysitter: 7/10. O comedie horror, o mixtura intre Scary Movie si Stiu ce-ai facut asta vara... care mi-a placut la nebunie. :D
Star Wars the Last Jedi: 8/10 La fel de bun ca episodul 7.

Tu ce varianta de Blade Runner ai vazut? A trecut ceva vreme, dar sunt destul de sigur ca n-o mierleste.

Deadpool 2 - 10/10
Cea mai buna comedie pe care am vazut-o vreodata. Am ras cu lacrimi.
Prima parte a fost reusita, dar acesta a fost cu mult peste.
Rar vezi un film care sa fie plin de actiune si comedie.

Jigsaw - 5/10
Slabut si cam incoerent.
Cateva scene mai sangeroase il salveaza.

Savages - 4/10
Slab si cu o evolutie total diferita fata de asteptari. Si nu in sensul bun.
Si aici 2-3 faze mai rasarite si atat.

Jurassic World 7/10
Un film de actiune acceptabil, cu dinozauri si multa meschinarie.
Multe faze trase de par, dar nu insuportabil de exagerate.
A fost totusi un final interesant, desi

Mie sincer varianta asta noua mi s-a parut decenta, dar nu memorabila, un SF bun al anului si atat, usor uitabil dupa cativa ani, in schimb aia veche mi s-a parut plicticosenia plicticoseniilor, doar la Ghostfather sau cum naiba ii zice de-i cel mai bun film all time, Godfather asa m-am plictisit mai mult. Eu nu dau 2 bani pe astea 2 filme sincer iti spun, cu toate criticile pwlii lor cu tot.

Swiss Army Man 2016 7.5/10 - An original concept played very well. Daniel Radcliffe or better known as Harry Potter plays a cadaver here. And one with special abilities from which the most special is becoming more and more alive again while his friend uses those abilities to stay alive. 1st half of the movie is fine but the last half for me did the trick, this movie is a statement against conformity and prejudice, I like Redcliffe's affinity for lack of conformity - not the 1st time he makes such a statement, to love who you are regardless of what anyone says. The ending that literally is "What the fuck!?" enforces the deep disgust for conformity through the big grin on the

like Moses. I enjoyed that, like "Fuck you right back, judgemental retards! You pick on my friend for no good reason, you pick on me!". Redcliffe should have won an Oscar nomination for this one. If the Oscars would be even remotely correct hand(l)ed, that is.

Joe 2013 8/10 - Just a good old american movie. It's not old prose but it feels like a masterpiece of american life. Don't know why I liked it so much, it's pretty simple, but I did. Absolutely recommended if you just want a simple good movie that will keep you wanting. I've seen lots of movies lately but I only mention here those worth mentioning, like this one.

Ready Player One 2018 7/10 - It's sort of Matrix meets Sword Art Online stuff, just overly forced. This movie is a great effort made by 4 or 5 movie companies conjoined in an titanic effort. I can't say it's no good after all that work. But it is pretty stupid, in the same time it has a lot of CGI and things worth watching. I recommend it for just one view, I think not many people would like to go on a ride on this more than once; as it is a good ride indeed, it's as much shallow(combining way too many show characters from movies and anime) and overthought at times(the way to get to the keys is cheesy and dumb) - trying too combine too fast many of the deepest human themes that can't be combined like that, fast and gamely. But all in all it's entertaining(even if lamo in enough regards to make an adult yawn), that's what kids want, right?

What made me give it a good mark is the high probability for this movie to become reality in a short while.:rolleyes:

Sex is Zero 2007 2/10 - Intamplator am aflat ca s-a facut partea a 2-a si prima fiind superba am zis sa-ncerc. O porcarie totala, eu nu ma uit la filme de la 4/10 in jos, si aici fu exceptie putin ca jumate din film l-am vazut tot sarind cate 10 secunde din telecomanda incercand sa gasesc ceva interesant. Aproape jumate din film e copie cu faze mai naspa din prima parte, restul e o porcarie iesita din comun. L-au facut doar pt ca trebuia dupa ce prima parte fu atat de buna.
