<p><strong>Das Segel-Team Germany hat vor Valencia die zehnte Niederlage in der Herausforderer-Runde zum America's Cup einstecken müssen.</strong> Gegen die im Klassement führende US-Mannschaft von BMW ORACLE Racing kam die ,,Germany 1" mit 3:17 Minuten Verspätung über die Ziellinie. Die Amerikaner führen zum Auftakt der Rückrunde, haben nur eine Niederlage hinnehmen müssen. Damit sind sie Favorit auf die Final-Teilnahme vom 23. Juni an gegen Titelverteidiger Alinghi aus der Schweiz.
