Schottland: Dorfklub steigt in Premier League auf

<p><strong>Nach drei Aufstiegen in Folge spielt der Dorfklub FC Gretna in der kommenden Saison in der schottischen Premier League.</strong> Durch ein 3:2 bei Ross County sicherte sich der Verein aus der knapp 2700 Einwohner zählenden Gemeinde die Zweitliga-Meisterschaft mit einem Zähler Vorsprung gegenüber FC St. Johnstone. Gretnas Erfolg sicherte vor allem der Millionär Brooks Mileson. Für die kommende Saison müssen Fans zu den Heimspielen allerdings eine zweistündige Anfahrt in Kauf nehmen.
