Brown era mai mult decat one-of a kind running back. El returna kick-offs, prindea pase si chiar a aruncat 3 touchdown-uri.
A jucat 9 ani in NFL, din care in 8 a fost pe primul loc la rushing TD's. S-a retras insa la 30 de ani, in vara anului 1966.
Interesant este ca in cei 9 ani cat a jucat, desi a fost lovit incontinuu de apararile adverse, el n-a lipsit nici macar 1 meci
Majoritatea oamenilor de fotbal aici il considera unul dintre cei mai buni, daca nu chiar CEL MAI BUN jucator din istoria NFL'ului. Period.
Dupa ce si-a incheiat cariera de football, s-a apucat de filme. A jucat in multe, a fost chiar si regizor.
Filme mai tari in care a jucat: "The Dirty Dozen", "Ice Station Zebra", "Any Given Sunday". In total a jucat in 32 de filme
Multi nu stiu insa ca pe langa football, Jim Brown este in hall of fame si la Lacrosse :)

-Considerat unul dintre cei mai buni linebackeri din istoria NFL-ului, si unul dintre cei mai buni jucatori defensivi din istoria NFL-ului deasemenea.

-Nu a jucat football pana in clasa a 11'a.
-Colegiu: UNC(University of North Carolina) unde a inceput ca defensive linemen pana sa fie mutat pe postul de OLB (Outside Linebacker).
-Inaltime - 1.91 (6'3)
-Greutate - 109 kg (240 lbs)

*Numit in All-American team in 1980.
*A intrat in draft in 1981 si a fost al doilea pick, selectat de New York Giants.
Pana la sfarsitul primului sezon profesional a inregistrat 9.5 sacks (numar neoficial fiindca NFL-ul nu tine statistici despre sacks decat din 1982).
*Rookie si Defensive Player of the year in primul an bineinteles, si DPOY iarasi in urmatorul an.
