<p><strong>Oktay Urkal konnte auch seine vierte WM-Chance nicht nutzen und wird nun wohl seine Profibox-Karriere beenden. </strong>Der 37 Jahre alte Deutsch-Türke unterlag in San Juan/Puerto Rico im Kampf um den WBA-Titel im Weltergewicht dem einheimischen Titelträger Juan Miguel Cotto durch technischen k.o. in der elften Runde. Trainer Uli Wegner warf das Handtuch, nachdem der Ringrichter dem ohnehin nach Punkten zurückliegenden Berliner einen Punkt wegen Kopfstoßes abgezogen hatte.
