Mai mult ca sigur este the Upcoming Superstar of the NBA.

The Celtics got off to a hot start against the Los Angeles Clippers Thursday night, cruising to a 23-6 lead at the end of the first quarter. They never looked back, beating the Clippers, 76-59.

Rookie Gerald Green led the Celtics with 14 points (5-9 FG). Tony Allen had 13 points (5-11 FG), while Justin Reed pitched in 12 points (4-9 FG). The Celtics finished the game shooting 44 percent (28-64 FG), and out-rebounded the Clippers 51-34.

Daniel Ewing was the only Clipper in double figures, scoring 12 points (4-9 FG). They finished the shooting just 28 percent (16-58 FG). The Clippers scored more points in the third quarter (21) than they did in the first and second quarters combined (20).

Reed had 11 points (4-9 FG) in the first half, while Green had 10 points (4-5 FG) for the Celtics. Green provided the highlight of the night when he jammed over two Clippers. The dunk brought the fans to their feet for several minutes. The Celtics shot 43 percent (18-42 FG) for the half, out-rebounding the Clippers 30-16.

The Clippers had a dreadful half, shooting just 23 percent (6-26 FG) and committing seven turnovers.

The Celtics play the Dallas Mavericks tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m., while the Clippers face the Phoenix Suns on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Summer League Report on Andray Blatche (Wizards)

Andray Blatche- Nailed a beautiful three pointer and then got excited and took a very poor one. Brought the ball up the court, took his man off the dribble, put it behind his back twice either way and then floated the ball into the hoop in the smoothest way possible. The kid is incredibly skilled for a 19 year old, the only question now is whether he is going to keep working at it and add a low post game to compliment his height.

Blatche was murdered everytime he tried to guard David Lee or any of the other power forwards, he looks lost a lot when he tries to do too much, but he showed some really tantalizing skills to make you really wonder how so many GM’s decided to let him slip all the way to the Wizards at the end of the 2nd round.

Blatche was forcing the issue a little too much in the 2nd half. The same thing happened to him yesterday, he started off the game looking like a top ten pick and ended up jacking up terrible shots from behind the arc and looking completely lost when it comes to rebounding or playing defense.

Ala e Payton?
Oricum, a avut timp sa declare (http://www.nba.com/pacers/news/artest_050711.html) "I'm a ghetto-type guy. I'm from the 'hood. I'm going to be ghetto for the rest of my life."
