In the most expensive television rights deal in club soccer, Real Madrid sold its TV broadcast rights to a production company for $1.41 billion over seven years. Mediapro was the highest bidder, Real Madrid said Monday. No information was provided on rival bidders. Earlier this year, FC Barcelona announced a similar five-year agreement of its TV rights with Mediapro for $1.28 billion.
