World Cup champion Italy got back on track in European Championship qualifying, beating Ukraine 2-0 Saturday night on second-half goals by Massimo Oddo and Luca Toni. It was Italy's first victory since winning the World Cup in July. The Azzurri struggled in their opening two qualifiers, tying Lithuania 1-1 at home and losing 3-1 at France in a rematch of the World Cup final.
