El presidente del Comité Olímpico Espa?ol, Alejandro Blanco, manifestó que actualmente Madrid 2016 es la mejor candidatura olímpica "ya que en materia de infraestructuras hay un 77 por ciento en fase de terminación, como en el número de acontecimientos deportivos que Espa?a y Madrid está organizando en los últimos a?os".
