El finés Mikko Hirvonen (Ford) ha aumentado la ventaja con su rival por victoria y título, el galo Sebastien Loeb (Citroen), tras los seis primeros tramos del segundo día del rally de Finlandia, mientras el espa?ol Dani Sordo (Citroen) ha cedido el tercer puesto ante el finés Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford).
