El diario británico News Of The World echa más le?a al fuego en el 'culebrón Etoo' y asegura que el delantero camerunés rebajaría sustancialmente sus pretensiones para fichar por el Manchester United de Alex Ferguson. El rotativo incluso cita las declaraciones de alguien muy cercano al entorno del jugador: "A Samuel no le convence un traspaso a un equipo de mitad de la tabla en la Premier League pero tampoco aceptará la oferta de renovación del Barcelona".
