El suizo, que ya ganó a Soderling en la final de Roland Garros esta temporada, aseguró que antes del torneo francés él pensaba que el sueco era mejor en hierba que sobre tierra. "Si me hubiesen preguntado antes de Paris, pensaba que Soderling era más peligroso en hierba que en tierra, pero tras verle sus grandes partidos en Roland Garros, estoy más preocupado", dijo.
