NO, they didn't get together again because the team who burn from that fuzion demote in the second league and then the two teams split and play in the second league !
In the season 2005-2006 Astra demote and Petrolul finished the season in the 3rd place, and now Petrolul want's to get there where the place team are(in the first league) !

Am cunoscut un batranel englez care credea ca (virgula) capitala Romanei e budapesta dar stia unde e Ploiestiul...fusese pilot RAF si si-a scapat "gainatul" peste rafinariile din Ploiesti in WWII. Am cunoscut un englez al carui dormitor ar fi pus la rusine orice suporter craiovean....totul numai alb-albastru si numai postere cu echipa de aur a craiovei. Era fan U' Craiova de cand auzise ca o echipa de studenti din romania i-a trosnit pe Leeds culmea si la Leeds. Am cunoscut un "scouse" (suporter Liverpool) care chiar daca era 150% alb-rosu de o viata intreaga, dupa meciul Liverpool - Petrolul din '66 a urmarit cu atentie si echipa din Ploiesti. Un mosulet din Liverpool batuse drumul (si baba de acasa ca sa-l lase) pana in tara galilor, in tricoul rosu -alb -galben ( asa isi aduce aminte el culorile Petrolului) sa mai vada o echipa pe care ultima data o vazuse in '66 si care i-a ramas la inima. Iar in '94 a avut ocazia din nou sa o vada jucand impotriva lui Wrexham in Cupa cupelor.
Ciudat, bizar, de necrezut...dar se poate.

intradevar sunt de invidiat englezii astia si is sigur ca mai sunt multe astfel de povestioare.
in materie de fidelitate fata de echipa favorita cred ca doar nemtzii se pot gandi sa se compare cu ei (fara supaare pt sp,it, fr etc)
