Beckham seguirá en el Milán hasta final de temporada. Según The Times, el inglés ha llegado a un acuerdo con Los Ángeles Galaxy para seguir hasta junio en Italia a cambio de que el inglés ponga de su bolsillo 2,3 millones, cifra que tendría que sumarse a los tres millones que ofrecía el Milán. Una vez terminada la temporada en Europa, Beckham regresaría a la MLS. La Gazzetta dello Sport también da por hecho el acuerdo: "Sólo falta la firma", titulaba su portal de Internet en la tarde de ayer.
