El piloto belga François Duval (Ford) presentó su candidatura al Rally de Córcega, antepenúltima cita del Campeonato del Mundo, al marcar el mejor tiempo en el ''shakedown'', por delante de los Citroen de Sebastien Loeb y Dani Sordo.
