El Valladolid se llevó el triunfo merecidamente ante el Almería merced a los goles de Álvaro Rubio y de Medunjanin, ambos en la segunda parte. Sin embargo, el gran protagonista del partido fue el linier, que con 1-0 en el marcador y cuando rondaba el minuto 72, se inventó un fuera de juego de Natalio para anularle el empate.
