Bernd Schuster, quiere que se confirme el fichaje de Rafael Van der Vaart para esta temporada. Las eventuales salidas de Baptista y De la Red y el traspaso ya confirmado de Granero al Getafe van a crear un vacío importante en el mediocampo madridista. El técnico madridista necesita un jugador que pueda combinar con Guti y Sneijder en la zona de creación de juego.
