El piloto australiano Casey Stoner (Ducati) fue el más rápido en la carrera de MotoGP del Gran Premio de Alemania, décima prueba del Mundial disputada en el circuito de Sachsenring, en la que el italiano Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) terminó segundo y el australiano Chris Vermeulen (Suzuki), tercero.
