Joan Laporta confirmó en rueda de prensa que no dimitirá y que seguirá al frente del club a pesar de la dimisión de hasta ocho de sus directivos. El presidente azulgrana justificó su decisión por el bien del club: "Sigo de presidente por el sentido de la responsabilidad, por coherencia y para no perjudicar la estabilidad del club".<img src="http://feeds.marca.com/~r/marca/1adivision/~4/332000928" height="1" width="1"/>
