El Villareal ya se prepara para la próxima temporada. El equipo de Manuel Pellegrini se incorporará al trabajo el 14 de julio, y al día siguiente partirá hacia la localidad gerundense de Navata donde empezará a prepararse hasta el día 25. Después el submarino amarillo volverá a casa para comenzar la segunda parte de su pretemporada. Los jugadores se entrenarán en la Ciudad Deportiva de Villarreal el día 28 de julio.
