The WTA will try out on-court coaching for the first time with trials at the Rogers Cup in Montreal and Pilot Pen in New Haven, the tour said Friday. Players may request their coach on court once per set as well as during set break. A coach must be designated before the match. A player may appoint a fellow player or other individual to serve as her coach in the match.
