French captain Zinedine Zidane was sensationally sent off in extra time as Italy won the World Cup after a penalty shoot out in the final in Berlin on Sunday.The French captain was shown the red card in the last match of his career for headbutting Marco Materazzi with ten minutes remaining of added time. The match ended 1-1 with Italy winning the shoot out 5-3.
