Turul Katarului

Intre 27 ianuarie si 1 februarie va avea loc Turul Katarului la care si-au anuntat participarea o seama de ciclisti valorosi.
In sezonul trecut competitia a fost dominata de formatia Quick-Step si capitanul acesteia Tom Boonen care a castigat 4 etape, ca si de primul in clasamentul general individual, Wilfried Cretskens.

Asa cum s-a intamplat si in 2007, echipa belgiana Quick Step a castigat prima etapa a Turului Qatarului, reusind cel mai bun timp pe distanta de 6 kilometri pe faleza din Doha.

Tom Boonen a castigat pentru a doua oara in cariera Turul ciclist al Qatarului, rutierul de la Quick Step trecandu-si in cont ultima etapa a competitiei. Aceasta este a treia victorie de etapa pentru Boonen in aceasta a 7-a editie a Turului Qatarului.

Mda, se pare ca Boonen a ajung la 14 etape castigate in Turul desertului si l-a si revendicat pentru a doua oara. Nu ne-am mira de anul viitor va castiga toate etapele! :D
