El presidente del Barcelona, Joan Laporta, ha sido elegido vicepresidente de la nueva Asociación Europea de Clubes (AEC), que sustituirá al G-14 y cuya ejecutiva permanecerá en ejercicio hasta que, al final de temporada, la asamblea general elija a un nuevo equipo.
