Los enfrentamientos entre el Sevilla y el Getafe quedarán marcados para siempre por lo que ocurrió en agosto de 2007 en el Sánchez Pizjuán. La muerte de Antonio Puerta ha significado un antes y un después para el fútbol y, especialmente, en la historia del club nervionense.
