Jucatorii care au participat la petrecerea de Craciun a echipei Manchester United, eveniment dupa care au aparut informatii potrivit carora o tanara ar fi fost violata la hotelul unde s-au distrat fotbalistii, au fost amendati de tehnicianul Alex Ferguson cu suma totala de 1,3 milioane de euro.
