<p><strong>Der Altenberger Carsten Pump hat beim Biathlon-Weltcupsprint im finnischen Kontiolahti für eine Überraschung gesorgt. </strong>Der sächsische Zollhauptwachtmeister blieb wie der Sieger Ole Einar Björndalen ohne Schießfehler und lag im Ziel nur 23 Sekunden hinter dem Norweger. Für Pump war es das beste Weltcup-Resultat seiner Laufbahn. Zweiter wurde mit 12,7 Sekunden Rückstand Rückstand auf Björndalen der Russe Dmitri Jaroschenko, der einmal in die 150 Meter lange Strafrunde musste.</p><div style="margin: 5px 0 5px 0; font: 10px arial; color: #999; clear: both;">
