<p><strong>Das Tennis-Team der USA hat zum 32. Mal den Daviscup gewonnen. </strong>Die Zwillingsbrüder Bob und Mike Bryan holten im Finale in Portland im US-Bundesstaat Oregon gegen Titelverteidiger Russland mit einem 7:6 (7:4), 6:4, 6:2-Erfolg im Doppel gegen das russische Duo Nikolai Dawidenko/Igor Andrejew den dritten und entscheidenden Sieg. Bereits am Freitag hatten Andy Roddick und James Blake die Amerikaner im ,,Memorial Coliseum" mit ihren beiden Einzelsiegen gegen Dmitri Tursunow und Michael Juschni mit 2:0 in Führung gebracht. Für die USA war es der erste Daviscup-Gewinn seit 1995. Damals hatten unter anderem Pete Sampras und Jim Courier für die Amerikaner im Finale in Moskau ebenfalls gegen Russland gewonnen.</p><div style="margin: 5px 0 5px 0; font: 10px arial; color: #999; clear: both;">
