<p><strong>Der wegen der Finanzierung und Organisierung von Hundekämpfen angeklagte Football-Profi Michael Vick muss seinem Team, den Atlanta Falcons, aus der US-Football-Liga NFL 20 Millionen Dollar zurückzahlen. </strong>Das hat ein Gericht entschieden. Die Summe hatte der Quarterback im Dezember 2004 für seine Unterschrift unter einen Zehnjahresvertrag über 130 Millionen Dollar erhalten. Vick habe das Geld unter anderem dazu genutzt, seine Hundekämpfe zu organisieren, hieß es seitens der Atlanta Falcons. Die Spielergewerkschaft NFLPA will das Urteil dagegen anfechten.
