<p><strong>Die US-Leichtathletin und dreifache Olympiasiegerin Marion Jones hat nach ihrer Doping-Beichte ihre fünf Medaillen zurückgegeben, die sie bei den Olympischen Spielen in Sidney gewonnen hatte. </strong>Das teilte ihr Anwalt mit. Jones hatte am Freitag vor einem US-Gericht die Einnahme von Steroiden gestanden, die sie zuvor jahrelang heftig bestritten hatte. Wegen Falschaussage unter Eid droht ihr nun eine Haftstrafe, das Urteil wird am 11. Januar erwartet. Jones gewann im Jahr 2000 bei den Olympischen Sommerspielen in Sydney drei Gold- und zwei Bronzemedaillen für die USA.
