Según confirmaron fuentes próximas a la entidad, el técnico toledano ha mantenido un encuentro con el presidente del club, Julio Romero; el vicepresidente, Miguel Ángel Ruiz; y el secretario técnico, Manuel Salvador, tras regresar a Valencia, en el que se le comunicó su destitución.
