<p><strong>Wimbledonsiegerin Venus Williams (Foto) hat beim mit 145.000 Dollar dotierten WTA-Turnier in Seoul das Endspiel erreicht.</strong> Als Nummer eins der Setzliste gewann die Weltranglistenneunte im Halbfinale mit 6:2, 6:2 gegen die Italienerin Flavia Pennetta. Im Finale trifft Venus Williams auf die Russin Maria Kirilenko, die sich mit 7:5, 6:0 gegen Titelverteidigerin Eleni Daniilidou aus Griechenland durchsetzte.
